Matrimonial & Divorce

It is never an easy time if you do suspect your partner is being unfaithful, but at A1 Investigations we work closely with you to carry out discreet matrimonial surveillance both in the UK and overseas as required.

Matrimonial surveillance can help put your mind at ease or may confirm your suspicions, but either way it will give you the answers you need to be able to move forwards.

We will work closely with you to monitor a partner as appropriate, and we will provide our clients with a full report and photographs of evidence that can be passed to solicitors if divorce becomes a reality. We can also undertake financial asset investigations to identify if your partner is hiding assets from you.

In some cases, this type of surveillance finds that there is nothing to be worried about or a partner was in fact planning a surprise ‘event’ for their spouse. However, it can also result in bad news and confirmation of an affair.

At A1 Investigations we understand that the breakdown of any relationship is difficult, and we operate with absolute discretion, compassion and understanding at all times. We will help you gather the facts and the truth and then you can make an informed decision about what to do next. This might result in you getting resolution and peace of mind or you may need to confront the problem if your concerns are proven right.

Signs of infidelity may include the following behaviour changes*:

  • Improved appearance – your partner may have made significant changes in their appearance which are out of character. Their clothes may have new smells such as distinctive perfume or smoke which is uncharacteristic
  • Secretive phone or computer use – is your partner being cagey or guarded when using their devices?
  • An altered schedule – your partner’s normal work/life schedule different may be different and they may not be able to explain it. Maybe they are working late or working away more than usual
  • They are distant and unavailable – you partner may be less engaged with you and the relationship and may disappear for periods of time without any communication. They may not answer their phone to you for example
  • Changes in sexual activity – either more or less
  • Your partner is hostile toward you and your relationship.
  • They may suggest you are paranoid and should see a doctor or Psychiatrist.

*please not that these signs do not mean your partner is cheating and they could indicate that something else is wrong.

Digital Infidelity

We can also support you in investigating digital as well as physical infidelity. In today’s digitally driven world, infidelity can take on many forms and does not always involve being unfaithful face to face. Our team of expert agents can support digital matrimonial investigations as well as more traditional forms of surveillance. More often than not, we need to use a blend of investigation techniques both on and offline in order to gather the facts for our clients.

We tailor all our matrimonial surveillance services to meet your needs and we can operate in the UK and overseas.
